Sunday March 22nd 2009. Launch -?? days.

This has been a relaxingly intense day. An odd description I know. Things have been happening, making the day quite intense, but as we have our strength somewhat limited after a long test campaign, it’s been done at a fairly relaxed pace because we can’t manage much more. It has been another gorgeous weekend day, but tired and stressed people are struggling to enjoy it, even when they can. It is a relief that we are going to have a relatively relaxed month now before the next set of tests.

I left work early (this means being clocked-in for just 10.2 hours) to join a certain patrician Englishman and a retired Italian banker for a Chinese meal in the evening. We picked a Cantonese menu, which brought plate after plate of interesting offerings to share. Our Italian’s friend’s face when he saw a basket of dum-sung was a picture! Good food. Good company and an escape from the pressures of work, even if we did talk shop rather a lot.

Now we are talking openly about a particular launch date and the consequences of we can’t meet it. The impression is though that any and every possible effort will be made to make that launch date.
