09-04-01 - Launch -  ?? days. A public announcement about the launch will be made tomorrow.

09-04-02 - Launch -  ?? days. So, today the information that we received in confidence yesterday has been confirmed by the public announcement

09-04-03 - Launch -  ?? days. Today followed the pattern of yesterday

09-04-04 - Launch -  ?? days. A quiet, relaxing, quite normal day… for a change

09-04-05 - Launch -  ?? days. Today, finally, I have had the first day since Monday when I felt reasonably human.

09-04-06 - Launch -  ?? days. This afternoon was dedicated to more than four hours interviewing three candidates for the Planck

09-04-07 - Launch -  ?? days. In the morning the Planck interviews were closed-out by interviewing the last candidate

09-04-08 - Launch -  28 days. Around midday the Boss came round the offices to say that we had unofficial word, although backed-up by two independent reports.

09-04-09 - Launch -  27 days. Blesséd sleep!

09-04-10 - Launch -  26 days. Today the most strenuous thing that I did was to search for somewhere to buy fruit and vegetables on a bitterly cold morning with a frigid wind and spitting rain

09-04-11 - Launch -  25 days. Still no news

09-04-12 - Launch -  24 days. Ignored my email all day

09-04-13 - Launch -  23 days. This was a tough way to start after a break! 09-04-14 - Launch -  22 days.

09-04-14 - Launch -  22 days.  Yesterday, at this same time, I was leaving work in brilliant sunshine

09-04-15 - Launch -  21 days.  Three weeks to go

09-04-16 - Launch -  20 days. Tomorrow that “2” will change to a “1”

09-04-17 - Launch -  19 days. In the morning the ecstasy of seeing “19”

09-04-18 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. Saturday morning and the usual round of business

09-04-19 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. Our analysis over lunch yesterday was that our friends from Planck will be the only people happy with the launch delay.

09-04-20 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. It has been a long day

09-04-21 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. Today has been one of the toughest days that I have had for a long time

09-04-22 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. We were expecting some kind of statement from Arianespace yesterday

09-04-23 - Launch -  19 days and Holding. My particular part of the test has ended for a day or so

09-04-29 - Launch -  15 days and Counting. We are about to enter the last two weeks before launch
